Brendan Johnston is a multi-disciplined cyclist, competing at the highest levels of road, MTB, and gravel. Having grown up on the South coast of NSW Australia, Brendan now calls Canberra home, even though he splits his time between Australia and the USA.

Cycling has been a life-long passion for Brendan, starting as a young boy following his father and sister on the road, and later on a mountain bike. His success in bike racing started early, and began representing Australia in his teens. Life took a turn when he was 17, however, when he was diagnosed with cancer. It took a few years to recover, but Brendan never lost the love for the sport and was determined to come back stronger than ever. In 2013, he “Everested” a local climb and raised over $20k for the hospital where he received his cancer treatment.

Since then, he has found success at the national and international level. Currently Brendan has set his focus on Gravel racing. In 2023 he entered the LifeTime Grand Prix and found himself in 7th place overall

Off the bike, he enjoys motorsports. But his real passion is going for rides with his 5 year old daughter, Maeve.
