Adne Koster

Adne Koster is a professional gravel cyclist from Roden, Netherlands. Adne grew up in a cycling and speed skating family. Both his parents and grandparents all raced bikes and were speed skaters. Hi younger brother also races gravel and road bikes. They often train and race together in both disciplines.

Adne began his athletic career in speed skating, and then started road racing in 2011. He continued competing in both speed skating and cycling until 2017, when he became Dutch junior national road champion. At that point, he decided to fully focus on road cycling and quit speed skating for 4 years. He spent his U23 years as a semi-professional for several Dutch continental road cycling teams.

In 2023, Adne added gravel racing to his road racing schedule and became 5th in the Dutch national gravel championships. He instantly fell in love with the style of racing that gravel provided, so he decided to make gravel him main priority in 2024. That year, his dedication paid off with some impressive results, including six top-ten finishes in the UCI Gravel World Series, earning him third place in the overall points standings for 2024.
