THEO DE GROOTE
Theo first found his love for cycling by riding mountain bikes with his dad. By age 9, he was already racing, beginning with mountain bikes and then switching over to road racing. Winning a race in Belgium as a first-year junior gave Theo the confidence to know he could compete at the highest level. Theo’s intro to gravel came in 2022, where he came second at Paris to Ancaster, and then a week later won The Tour of the Battenkill.
Theo continues to be a talented multi-disciplined rider, having competed in MTB, Road, Cyclocross, Track, and Gravel. His versatility and competitive spirit pushes him forward in the emerging field of endurance off-road racing.
